[OUR NPCS... after things calm down, it's not too hard to find Kaveh. He didn't go far--not that he could, anyway. He's got a half-empty coffee cup next to him, as well as Mehrak, which gazes placidly out with a neutral '_' face.

He glances over when he sees Haru and nods.]

[ oh, this guy and his briefcase (toolkit). haru pauses from where he's collecting a plain water with ice, before nodding at kaveh, and then mehrak. ]

...Shouldn't I ask you that?

[ he's the one who seemed upset. ]

[ wow, this sucks! once they've been set loose on japanifornia again, he's heading towards the gym at some point, though he's so lost in thought that he nearly walks right into kaveh.

though instead, there's a surprised, weak flicker of a barrier that forms between them, so they might both bounce off. ]

Unfortunately Kaveh cares very much about Haru, so he isn't deterred by bonking into the barrier even if it startles him a little.]

[Kaveh is out here!! Doing his best, aka probably trying to get to Buzen because red string shenanigans. He is, at least, mostly healed; he's got some lingering injuries for funsies, but he's up and about and an adult, so that's good.

When he spots Haru, though, he jerks back, eyes wide. Weird.]

[ sorry my backtags are late please blame spoon. on the bright side, it looks like kaveh isn't at death's door... haru is relieved until he also comes to a complete and total stop, staring back at kaveh. this is a deer versus headlights moment, and he's not sure which he's supposed to be.

he did tear out of there really fast, but he won't be too far from the museum, having run over to the lake nearby. he still seems deeply distracted, but upon almost literally running into him— ]

Kaveh is doing his best to stay out of Emotions range, because the last person who needs to deal with his issues is Haru--but he does peer over.]

[ he's looking out over the water at the park again, though this time he's fiddling with a bracelet he's wearing, gently picking off a petal that's grown too bruised to hang on any longer. ]

Sorry. [...He thinks of Kazuki and hesitates, but decides to add--] It's been everybody. I've been trying to spare them.

[He knows his vibes are Bad... but at least right now they're more tired and resigned than anything, and he knows that his feelings aren't out of place among the rest of them. Victory is so hollow. It doesn't undo the pain of loss.

He comes over, taking a seat and gazing out at the lake.]

BUT FOR NOW Kaveh doesn't mind; he's hardly going to be mad at Haru for being upset over a legitimately horrific situation. He offers Haru a smile as he approaches, trying to be reassuring even though he also hasn't quite recovered from the weekend.]

anyway, this feels like a rather personal thing to be stumbling upon, but also kaveh's mother is pretty relatable. he would also prefer to be off to the side, doing his own thing. his father... there's clearly a story there, but he doesn't want to pry. ]

ANYWAY after Haru is taken care of (and possibly fussed over by Ylfa and Gerard for a while), Kaveh will come check on him!! Where is the boy.]

Week 4, Saturday

[shows up 20 years late but at some point after their meeting, as they start to disperse, Kaveh will just come over and hug Haru again.]

[ he's extremely upset that gerard is trying to cuck him of death, even moreso perhaps than i, nu the player, am. so he just limply allows this. sometimes you are canonically terrible at returning hugs. ]

...I know this is the fairest outcome. [ they've killed so many fucking people ] But it doesn't feel like it.

Week 5, Thursday

[WE ARE CURFEWING TOGETHER technically they could have this conversation in the house but whatever it's fine. He looks so tired--but at least he's been more or less healed and cleaned up.]

Week 6, Saturday

[Well after a little time to process all the TENSION OF THIS DAY he will just come and find Haru and pull him into a hug.]
