[SKLJDSFLKJSD she probably moved it under an awning near IKEA or something so, sure. He can find her outside with her piano, probably eating frozen yogurt and yearning for a mcflurry.]
[I wasn't sure if you wanted a starter so you get one anyway
Even though this is a bad starter because Kaveh is just. Sitting in the park under the tree, his gaze distant and sad. Wow. She can approach him if she wants; he won't run or anything, but he won't call out to her.]
[He blinks a little at her presence, as if shaken out of his thoughts. Looking up at her, he shakes his head.]
No, it's fine. [He'd love to say that he's doing fine, but he doesn't think anyone will buy it after the fuss he kicked up on Sunday. Forcing it would be worse than just trying to downplay it.] I can't promise I'll be good company, though.
[He's out here!! Doing his best. He is, at least, mostly healed; he's got some lingering injuries for funsies, but he's up and about and an adult, so that's good.
When he spots her, though, he jerks back, eyes wide. Weird.]
[Hello Monika! Kaveh is here at Puppy Play; rather, he's lingering outside, peering in. He's in his new outfit with his hair pinned up in a bun and his nails painted; he's waving them lazy back in forth in the universal "making sure your nails are dry so you don't mess them up" gesture. He greets her with a little wave, though he edges away if she gets too close, like he's trying to spare her from experiencing his Emotions.]
Well they were in library club together and ICly Kaveh probably would have asked after her but I was BUSY AAAA I HATE WORK,,, anyway Kaveh will drag himself out of the library eventually, and... probably head to the park, though he's just kind of. Sitting and staring off into the distance, radiating sadness and guilt. THE VIBES ARE SO BAD EVERYTHING IS SO BAD!!!
He will, at least, straighten a little when he spots Monika, looking at her with concern.]
[everything has happened so much in the last 48 hours... monika's feeling a bit of grief, but there's still some lingering numbness underneath it all. still, she greets him with a tired smile.]
I'm okay. I wish I could say the same for everyone, though...
[That's such a mood. He doesn't have a smile for her, but he does try to pull back his negativity a little, if only to spare her. It doesn't work very well, but the effort is there.]
Monika can find Kaveh sitting in the cemetery under the tree monument, sketching in a notebook. Understandably, he looks very miserable, but he nods at her.]
[SPECIAL MISSIONS REALLY SAID DIE. Kaveh is here, though; he's been healed enough to be, like, upright and conscious and moving around, though he's still kind of in pain. He gives her a tired half-smile.]
[Hilariously and ironically, this would probably be more awkward if Monika hadn't been the executioner yesterday.
It still hurts, of course. He'd been so, so ready to take Nahida's place. Getting that taken from him had been bad enough, and for it to be a completely unexpected twist... there's no easy way around it.
But Monika... at least Monika is Valerie's teammate. And he knows, from her memory, that she's dealt with... gruesome things, before. Complicated, awful situations. He's still not quite sure what to make of her memory, but that feels so distant now, compared to everything that happened over the weekend. And at the end of the day--if it couldn't be himself, then... it's easier to stomach that it was Monika. He doesn't hold anything against her.
Which means that, although it can't not be a little weird, he at least greets her with a small, tentative smile. He's in his new outfit with his makeup done, because sometimes you're trying to conceal don't feel. He's looking out at the lake!]
[sorry for killing your god, my dude. this is... slightly awkward. but if kaveh is smiling at her, then she will offer him an equally a small and equally as tentative smile in return.]
Not really... It snows more towards the end and the beginning of the year, but that's usually about it. You come from the desert, though, right?
[This can be pre- or post-thing!! Either way, Kaveh greets her with a small wave--but before he can say anything, they get pig'd, and Monika gets to see this memory!]

No, it's fine. [He'd love to say that he's doing fine, but he doesn't think anyone will buy it after the fuss he kicked up on Sunday. Forcing it would be worse than just trying to downplay it.] I can't promise I'll be good company, though.
