Well they were in library club together and ICly Kaveh probably would have asked after her but I was BUSY AAAA I HATE WORK,,, anyway Kaveh will drag himself out of the library eventually, and... probably head to the park, though he's just kind of. Sitting and staring off into the distance, radiating sadness and guilt. THE VIBES ARE SO BAD EVERYTHING IS SO BAD!!!

He will, at least, straighten a little when he spots Monika, looking at her with concern.]

...Are you alright? [He means yesterday.]

[rewriter]

[everything has happened so much in the last 48 hours... monika's feeling a bit of grief, but there's still some lingering numbness underneath it all. still, she greets him with a tired smile.]

I'm okay. I wish I could say the same for everyone, though...

[That's such a mood. He doesn't have a smile for her, but he does try to pull back his negativity a little, if only to spare her. It doesn't work very well, but the effort is there.]

I know. [...] I'm worried about Matsui.

... Me, too. I wish I knew how to help him.

[And there's a miserable curl of understanding, there--the sort of empathy that comes from experience.]

I would like to think otherwise, but... I'm not sure anything we do tomorrow will make much of a difference for him.

It won't bring Buzen back, so...
