[It's so funny that this was such a shattering, personal thing to relive weeks ago AND IT STILL MAKES HIM CRINGE but after everything that's happened since then he just freezes, then covers his face with his hands.]

If we ever needed proof of our overlords' sadistic tendencies, I think this is more than enough.

[This time, at least, he's a little more prepared for it--for the experience of being pulled into someone else's horrifying memories, and even for the odd reality of the world she came from. The first time was weeks ago, though, and it's not really something to get accustomed to after a single time.

So he looks a little disoriented when the memory ends--then looks back at her to see if she's okay.]
