Everything I see is him just - being a kid. Enjoying himself. I wish he got more time like that.
I do too. [If he thought it would actually help, he would've listened to Kiichi's advice in those first days and taken himself out of the equation.
He wants more than that, even. He wants to be able to help everyone who came from a bad situation, like Ylfa, or even Vash and Wolfwood, whose worlds sound so rough and barren. He wants to track down whoever set up this horrible system and beg them to find some other way. He wants so many things that are out of his grasp, and it makes this whole thing so much more frustrating.]

We have to keep going - if only to find out what happened to Rin-san first and then... I guess we'll see. If there's more discover here then there's enough of us looking for an alternative that it'd be impossible to miss.
That's something I'm willing to believe in, and put effort into.
[It's nice to have, if not a true optimist, then at least the closest thing to one. There may not be any concrete evidence for that hope, but it's something to cling to like a lifeline, so he'll hold onto it.]

[buzen works up a soft smile at that - a little too tired and exhausted for one at full energy, knowing everything he does about the situation. but he'll move his hand from where it's over kaveh's to rest lightly at his back]
