[yeah actually he changed his mind he's becoming a mime like shenhe
no just kidding. He is here!! He's also in his new outfit unless the mods tell me I can't have it in which case no he's not
ANYWAY he greets her with a wave too! They can't invite her inside, tragic.
It doesn't feel right to not greet her with some small talk, but also, he knows that she'll probably be wondering what this is about, so he'll get right to it.]
We were wondering if you've been told about the strange messages that have been sent out to the people who went on "special missions."
We received this one. It didn't seem like much, and we were told it was likely the result of a technological glitch. Here...
[nahida pulls out her phone and brings up a text message, then holds it out to shenhe to look at.]

Prepping for new Game. You will each need to volunteer one of your best Reapers temporarily for it. Up to you to decide who fits criteria of 'best.' Cannot give much info on setup, but it is based on that one Game from a few years back. You know the one. Comply with instructions ASAP.
[Kaveh nods, waiting for Shenhe to read over that and process it before he continues.]
After speaking with Ruby, it seems like this game that we're in was based on that one. It seems like these are the only two that have brought people in from different worlds. I can't say why they decided to do it again now, though. [...] We learned recently that those who went on a mission last week also received one. We have no proof if it's true or not, mind you, and we'd like to be cautious about how many people find out, lest they get frightened and reckless--but it didn't feel right to keep it from you.
[He hesitates, but. He's never been the type to sugarcoat things.]
Their message said that for those who don't win... their worlds will be Erased too.
...the way it was phrased was... "erase worlds of those who fail to win".
I would hope that means if at least one of us survives, Teyvat would be safe. But, I... [she hesitates, but ultimately - she doesn't sugarcoat it either.] ...we need more information, first and foremost. But a part of me is afraid that if even one of us fails, Teyvat will be erased.
The rules... only specify that the winners will be revived. They never state where the winners will go.
...I plan to ask for clarification, and I hope that I'm just worrying too much. But I think all three of us need to proceed very carefully until we know more.
I'm sure you understand why we don't want this to spread too far. I assume that those who went on the mission already told their teams, [unless they just oocly haven't gotten to it yet help] but in general, we'd rather make sure no one panics and acts rashly. I'm not saying you can't tell your team, but if you do, please caution them against believing it until we know more.
I don't know that I want to alarm my team. [... she's thinking about nahri, specifically, because she knows nahri wouldn't react well, but.] If you find out more, please tell me. I will tell them then, once we have a more solid answer.
We will. We don't want anything to happen to you. [Do you think about how Kaveh and Nahida would so easily let Shenhe kill them. I do. Anyway, he's quiet for a moment.] Alex said that Ruby told her the Erased are still around in some form--that they're on a different "frequency," presumably until the game is over. I haven't verified it myself, so take that with some caution as well, but if it's like that, then I think... even if this does turn out to be true, we don't need to panic yet.
[He doesn't have super high hopes that they'll be able to rescue the dead, honestly. But he doesn't want to give up on the idea that they can finagle a way for the survivors to escape. Not yet. If they can manage that... then maybe it will have been worth it, to keep pushing forward.]
[DON'T JUST TALK ABOUT HOW THEY'D LET HER KILL THEM PLEASE]
I don't want anything to happen to the two of you either. [a pause, and she moves a little closer, holding out her hands to both of them. team teyvat prayer circle.]
... If that's true about the Erased, this last weekend would be a little less awful. [she also doesn't think that they'll be able to rescue the dead, but like. the fact that they exist at all is a blessing.] Still. Take care of yourselves.
Not just for Teyvat, but because you are my friends.
anyway, nahida smiles a little at that, reaching for shenhe's hand with one hand and kaveh's with the other. team teyvat prayer circle, indeed. they couldn't all be on the same team but at least they'll have this.]
As long as you'll do the same, Shenhe. And you, too, Kaveh. You're both my friends, and... I don't want to see anything happen to either one of you.
[
i'm now extremely paranoid that shenhe is dying this week because this tag you sent us is really cute, flurry.]
They've answered question for me when they can... I'm not always happy with the answers I get, but I appreciate that they answer them, nonetheless. I think they're doing the best they can in a situation where the jobs they have aren't especially good.

Thank you. [first of all.] ... So there is a chance that Teyvat could be gone, should all of us fail.

Aika is just okay and Kiichi has a bad attitude as far as Kaveh is concerned]
