week 1, saturday

[THAT SUCKED... HE HATES THIS PLACE SO MUCH.

Amelia can catch him outside, though; he's just taking a walk by the canals, looking very sad, but he'll nod when he sees her.]

[She greets him with a smile -- not quite as cheerful and confident as usual.]

That was...

a pretty stressful last hour, wasn't it...

[What a mood. He'll at least try to return her smile, even if it's very faint.]

It was. [...] Thank you, for working so hard.

I'm just happy to help ensure that Justice is done!

Even if it felt like we were spinning in circles most of the way...

[God, did it ever.]

Last time, I think it was mostly our organization. [They could've checked pockets sooner. Pixis could have noticed that certain mod characters had two items more quickly.] But this time, it felt like we found the right team on accident.

Week 2, Sunday

[Well!

It's a little while after execution and Amelia's stopped by the canals, maybe waiting for a gondola to get her the heck away from here. Maybe Kaveh had the same idea, who knows.

There's an active effort to keep her emotions calm, and it's not an entirely successful one right now. They feel almost like a group of tangled knots of sadness and shock and anger. She doesn't have to look up to realize that Kaveh's near, and after a moment, she manages to say something.]

It's just horrible...

[Aki/Eli/Yaywon upset Amelia... the worst crime of all...

But yeah, he's at the canals. Just looking out over the water, mostly, all of his anguish burned down into a hollow kind of mourning. It takes him a while to say anything, even after she speaks.]

I knew he didn't want to live without Buzen. [Softly.] But I thought we'd get to say goodbye.

[saillune]

[She lifts her head enough to look over at him.]

So... he was prepared for it?

[... It's not the most surprising thing to hear, but it's not something she can really relate to.]

But that's still... really sad.

I'd like to think he would've chosen differently. But I don't expect he was going to.

[He hadn't sensed any true will to go on, yesterday. And Kaveh couldn't bring himself to beg him to try, not when Matsui's reason to fight was gone.]

But it shouldn't have been like this.

Week 5, Monday

[I think this is the funniest option so they are heading into the catacombs and are going to encounter beasties

Does Kaveh have his weapon? Nope

It's fine]

[She'll go ahead and make a little ball of light to float around with them as they go!]

Week 5, wednesday

[THEY MADE IT. SOMEHOW. With their drill necklaces... god.

Kaveh immediately went back and cleaned up and changed clothes, but he is back out here now that everything is over, and he greets Amelia with a tired smile.]

How did it go, Amelia?

[saillune]

I think it went really well! Me and Ylfa fought hard to protect the little sprites, and Miss Kyoko found the map piece like it was nothing!

[Amelia's still wearing her dirty clothes, but it looks like she's washed her face and gotten her scrapes healed. She also seems to plenty of energy to spare, even after running around a cave for hours on end.]

Good, I'm glad you weren't hurt. Make sure you get cleaned up, okay? [AMELIA YOUR LAUNDRY.] We were mostly unharmed, fortunately--Shu and Netzach are alright, they were the only ones who came to any sort of harm. Otherwise, we mostly dealt with pie and slugs.

Huh... I expected slugs, but pie??

Week 6, Saturday

[THE AMOUNT OF STRESS THIS DAY HAS HELD. MY GOD.

Anyway, he looks exhausted whenever he sees her again, but he gives her a small smile.]

...I'm glad you're both safe.

[Well, she was just buzzing with anxiety a moment ago, but she looks over and manages a small smile.]

Thanks...

You really didn't need to worry so much, though. I knew Livio didn't do it... and we both wanted the truth really badly.

... The truth is still pretty painful, though.

I didn't think he did either. I just, with Jonas... I didn't want anyone to start making assumptions.

[There's too much at risk. And besides, even though he would've done it anyway...]

I promised Wolfwood I'd try to look after him.

[There's a smile at that. It's warm, but also sympathetic.]

I think a lot of us have been trying to do the same... He can be a real handful.

Week 7, Monday

[After the thing!!! Kaveh's emotions are kind of on the fritz right now, since this is all very complicated, but he greets her with a tired smile anyway.]

Did you get a chance to speak to everyone?

Not everyone, yet! But some of them!

[Amelia looks even more energized than usual.]

I'm so happy to hear their voices again! Especially Mister Fukuzawa! And Miss Kyoko!

[SHE IS SO VALID TBH.]

Me too. I know we had proof they were safe, or they wouldn't have written us, but it's so good to see them.

Yeah!

There's a lot that I wished we could just sit down and talk about together, and now we finally can! Sort of!
