Honestly, that's been bothering me since we got here. It's very difficult to kill an archon, and as far as I know, there was nothing happening in Sumeru that would've put her at risk like this. It's not like we were at war.
Has anything like this ever happened to her before? I mean obviously not...dying...but being taken or anything like that. I'd think it'd be really hard for someone to take down a deity just like that.

But in general, yes, you're right--taking down a god in any capacity is no easy task. What I can say is that our Sages were recently overthrown, and she was restored to her rightful position; but I couldn't tell you much about it, since I wasn't in the city at the time.
But it couldn't have been them, I don't think. They're all under very close supervision.
