[SWEET ALEX... he's just chalking it up to lingering Setsu-related feelings, tbh. He's also not feeling that much better, though he's hiding it (and his hangover) with clothes and makeup.]
I always have architecture thoughts. [He is, at least, feeling well enough to say that. He's trying for some semblance of normalcy.] It's very different from Sumeru--we don't get snow, so we've never had to take it into account.
Oh, right. You'd have to build to accommodate the weather in whatever region... Like how the very few times it's snowed, even if it was only like an inch, the whole town came to a total stop because none of the roads are designed for it.
Right, exactly. Even throughout Sumeru, the buildings are made with very different materials depending on the region. You wouldn't design a building to withstand sandstorms in the middle of the rainforest, you know? From a glance, I'd say that the buildings in this area must be designed to retain heat, keep out moisture, and withstand the weight of snow.
Mm, Fontaine uses a special type of stone for that as well. [Oh, right--] That's the nation of the Hydro archon, so there's a lot of water there. I believe they treat their wood in Inazuma for similar reasons--those are islands, so they have to account for the ocean air as well.
Hah, I wish. No--there aren't really that many people with Visions in the world, all things considered. Most people utilize regular materials, or they harness elemental energy in different ways. Using flaming flowers to make oils, that kind of thing.

Got any architecture thoughts on Christmas land?

I think it makes things look kinda cool. What's the word, uh, shabby-chic?
