I doubt anyone will be sure about people they don't know this quickly. But Nahida and I both spoke to Hikari separately, which means we both saw merit in having him with us for separate reasons. I think that's a good sign. As for the fourth... well, my main concern is finding someone who can help me look after Nahida. She was primarily concerned about people who seemed willing to tackle this alone, but that may have changed now.
Doesn't everyone need looking after, from time to time? [He worried about her even back home, before they really spent any time together.] But typically, no, I wouldn't be that worried. But without our usual abilities...
Yes. [He sighs.] I do think that if it were possible, most of us would be willing to work together and figure out a way to ensure all of us could make it out of here safely. But given that those three said it's impossible to speak to the person who's reviving us... I'm not coming up with any alternatives.
[ god. (that's her.) he really is the type to believe in the goodness of others. at least he said most and not all. lambda is thinking about rang 'i'll say things in the most inciteful way possible' lee. ]
Kiichi said the erased will stay erased, by default. He said that to me and at least one other person.
[Fortunately he has just enough realism to him that he knows not everyone is kind. Or smart. Or not an asshole. He's an idealist out of stubbornness and spite, not naivety.]
Yes, I heard. [He chews on his lip for a moment.] I'd like to speak with him further, or maybe one of the other two.
[NOOOO BETRAYAL. It's really funny though she's truly being very nice to him right now]
...Someone mentioned that it's possible whoever's reviving us simply doesn't have the power to bring everyone back. If that's the case, there's truly nothing to be done for it.
[Which is... heartbreaking, really. It's the worst case scenario for someone like him.]

Is Nahida someone who needs to be looked after?

[ that's debatable, but she does typically like to be alone. ]
Without our usual abilities, you'll have to believe that everyone isn't going to be the absolute worst.

...I try to maintain that belief anyway. But these are very extreme circumstances--it would be foolish not to acknowledge that.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and some people can become very, very desperate when their lives are on the line.

What else has piqued your interest?

What do you mean?

We have all concerns about the game framework, don't we? What are your points of concern?
[ she really was trying to couch her words for once. ]

If they could bring back everyone all the time, no one would stay dead, but if it's a matter of power or points...
[ she does think that's an avenue to think about. ]
Chances are slim but not impossible.
