[Can you imagine if Froggystyle didn't win after all the murdering they did. Please. I die.
Anyway--Kaveh doesn't linger at the party for too long, but he's not too hard to find. Whenever Ylfa finds him, she'll see him engrossed in writing out pages of notes in his canonically beautiful handwriting. Thanks for that detail, genshin. He's got one hand on his head as he writes, focused, but then he glances up and catches sight of her.]
[He hugs her tightly!!! All his earlier agitation is gone; he's settled back into melancholy.]
I know what you mean. [He sighs.] I'm sorry if it seemed like I was trying to force Aika and Kiichi into something they didn't want. [Despite what he'd said to Kiichi, he wouldn't have done that. The only reason he got upset at Kiichi's rejection was because of the attitude he'd had about it, as if he didn't care at all about Ruby's death. It was too grating in the immediate aftermath.] I just hate that it feels like she died for nothing. But I don't know if we'll ever hear from Nightingale again.
[And there are only so many things he can think of to do about it in the span of a few hours.]
I'm not sure helping Nightingale is what Ruby would have wanted, anyway. I think she was pretty angry at them. But I also - I think having to do that really drove her to a dark place. I'm scared for what's going to happen to Kiichi and Aika next.
Mm. [He's quiet for a moment, contemplative. He certainly doesn't want anything like this happening to them.] Aika said she wants to become composer, doesn't she? Maybe we should talk to her and learn more about what that means.
That's a good idea. [He looks over at his notes, tapping the page.] Um--I was actually compiling a list of the ideas we mentioned earlier. Just... for another copy. I was thinking I'd give it to her before we leave, just in case.
[Nahida would never allow him to stay back and become a reaper, which is good because Kaveh would be a horrible one.]
Right, I remember. [Saving the world and all. Though, he also remembers her describing how her world works, a little.] ...Will you still be this version of yourself? Once everything is through?
I'll remember you, too. Me and Haru wouldn't have gotten through all of this without you, okay? So - don't feel like you didn't do enough. It meant something to me.
Week 7, Saturday

Oh--is it over already?

[the energy is actually a little weird. she wants to be happy, too, and part of her is, but she's also so fucking sad right now.]

It just sucks because she's right, nothing is fixed.

Yeah, um. I think Ruby was saying they might have gotten their memories erased a couple times? So we should definitely warn them.

Oh, I see. [He frowns, but he nods, looking serious.] Yes, let's do that.
[Maybe they can't do much to fix this--but he really is willing to do anything they can before they go home.
Actually, thinking of that...]
You and Gerard are going back home?

We have a lot we need to do there.

[which isn't a very satisfying answer.]
I think I hope so. But there's no way to know.

Either way... I'll remember you. The Ylfa I knew here.
