Really? [He literally only remembers being harassed by the guard at the museum and then the Avon ladies in the mall] Maybe I'll try that. Ruby's friendly enough, I don't think she'd mind.
Yeah, Aika was telling me all about the old couple that owns the bowling alley. Apparently they wanted a nice place for families to hang out, but the music means they don't get much of a crowd.
She and Ruby are both pretty nice. It's probably a good break for them to talk about something other than the game, too.
[Briefly, Kaveh's surprised at the idea that Kazuki might still want to practice his psych--but then he remembers Kazuki's world doesn't have Visions, and also that Drift Aura is a lot easier to fuck up than healing is.]
I suppose you're right. Have you spoken to her much about her world?
Not really. My world is pretty boring compared to everyone else's, anyway. There's not much to talk about besides Adonis or how my rehearsals were going up until the concert.
Well, the ones I came in were my concert clothes. It had just started, before I woke up here, but it was interrupted by this girl Hana - some insane groupie of Isshiki-san's. She's obsessed with him in the worst way. [ kazuki scowls. ] She brought a gun on stage, and started telling us about how she'd killed the cop who arrested Isshiki-san by mistake years ago, because it ruined his musical debut. She even bragged about it, like an absolute lunatic.
That cop's murder... It was the very first X-Day incident, and all of those incidents are claimed by Adonis. [ he takes a deep breath. ] Which meant... Hana was part of Adonis, too.
[ he takes a deep breath. ]
If I remember right... she was saying that Isshiki-san's arrest was somehow my fault, because my sister is a cop. Something about all cops and their families being guilty. I don't know, it's... really to remember.
Until then, Adonis was just something that existed around me. The incidents happened, but they never affected me directly, unless it meant classes were shut down for the day. That was the first time it ever got that close. Hana made it personal.

You know--I wonder if we could ask them? I haven't tried to communicate with them very much. [THEIR SHADOW PEOPLE...]

[He never goes there, because he is 28(/9) and not an athlete.]
But yes, she was very helpful when I sought her out as well--though that was more for assistance than quality time.

[ which honestly is the main reason kazuki's been hanging out there now and then. ]
Like I said, she won't mind either way. And you guys could always do something fun together once you're done talking shop.

[Forgive me if he asked this already I've lost track of everything]

The terrorist organization that made Shinjuku go into quarantine. Nobody wants to hear about stuff like that.

That's what you were dealing with before you came here?
[Meanwhile Kaveh out here with his normal-ass life]
