[ the way i want to say that kaveh can't die but it would be worse for him for everyone else to. help. save kaveh. ]
I didn't know her that well, but didn't someone say that maybe she didn't want to go all out from the start? If she really did sit down and talk with whoever it was, maybe they even gave her a head start.
...I don't see why Shenhe-san would drop the stop sign, though. Wasn't that, like, her main weapon here? Even with pyrokinesis and cryokinesis, why would she want to leave that behind? That's what confuses me.
...It might make sense, in a way? If they got along well enough that she'd drink with them at all, then it's reasonable that they would want to show her some respect, too - especially if they didn't really want to erase anyone in the first place.
Because there were two erasures this week? Or because of the messages? It's... a little hard to blame anyone for resorting to drastic measures, if their whole world is in danger.
[He can't say he's not upset. He can't even say he's not angry, though that anger feels... far away, tonight. His usual fire has been doused, and he doesn't have it in him to light a match.
But he keeps telling himself that this is how things are going to be. That he can't condemn someone for wanting to survive--especially, like Kazuki said, with their worlds at stake.
It's just so much harder, when it keeps being so personal.]
[ if anything, maybe that makes it worse. knowing the stakes, knowing that the killers are probably just trying to save their homes. wouldn't anyone do that?
kazuki sighs. ]
Well. If there are more than one erasures this week, we probably know who the first teams targeted will be.

Maybe those items were something of a memorial. It's not impossible that whoever killed her honored her wishes and buried her Vision for her.
[He's still not convinced the flamethrower wasn't involved tbh]

[Kaveh sighs, rubbing a hand over his face.]
More than anything, I'm worried things are going to escalate.

[ not much of a silver lining, though. ]

[They do, and he kind of hates it.]
...I know there's only so much you can do about it. But please try to stay safe, okay?

[ which admittedly isn't that much, but all he can do is promise to try. ]
I told someone I'd try to catch something on my phone, if it's me - just to try to give everyone as good a chance as I can.
