"You've reached Kaveh! Leave a message and I'll call you back in a--HEY, DON'T TOUCH THAT I JUST GOT IT IN THE RIGHT SP--"

Great. [He wants to talk so bad but he will resist... he can do it...] Where are you staying? I'll help you carry these back.

[hikari starts grabbing books, with maybe the air of someone trying to lowkey speed-gather them before kaveh can help him.]
But I am residing in the "Stork Suite".

Unfortunately for Hikari, awkward like recognizes awkward like... but Kaveh is gracious, so he doesn't try too hard to steal Hikari's reading stack. He does grab a few books, though, because he's still determined to be helpful.]
I don't think I've met anyone else from that suite yet. How is it, staying there?
no subject
I fear I am not well-acquainted with the others staying there, but I certainly have no reason to complain about their company.
no subject
That's good. Living with roommates you don't get along with is unbearable.
no subject
... Is that something you have had to deal with much? I am not experienced with sharing rooms, beyond at the inn with my traveling companions.
no subject
Well-- I--
[Wait they don't live together here. Kaveh isn't a freeloader anymore! He's free to complain!!!]
--I have, actually! I can't even count the number of times I cleaned that man's house, and do you think he ever once thanked me for it? No! He just made even more of a mess, and then criticized my living habits!
[CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT HIKARI]
no subject
was not expecting this rant and it's clear from the awkwardness that strikes his face]
It... does sound as though this man you speak of could be a more considerate roommate.
no subject
He absolutely could! Listen, if you somehow end up sharing a suite with Alhaitham, do not let him leave his books and coffee cups everywhere. Tell him you won't stand for it!
no subject
Alhaitham... Ah, I believe we've met?

no subject
It was productive, I think. He was kind enough to give me advice.
no subject
[Which is a little unfair, because Alhaitham has always known how to interact with people--he just rarely chooses to do so unless it suits him.
Then again, knowing Alhaitham...]
His advice isn't always the best, though. What did he tell you?
no subject
He told me to establish transactions prior to offering payment, lest I be taken advantage of?
