But I'm an architect, not a warrior, and I'm not at full strength here besides. I can defend myself well enough, but I would certainly prefer to have someone highly capable close by, just as a precaution.
[Kaveh would certainly like to think that people will look out for each other... but he's not young and innocent enough to be that naive anymore. He'll maintain his faith regardless, but that doesn't mean he won't do what he can to look out for Nahida too.]
