I'm going to make the executive assumption that at some point the mistlefight effect kicks in for Kaveh too--it doesn't actually matter if he lands a hit on Henry or not when that happens, he's going to feel terrible about it anyway. Self-defense is one thing, but getting pushed into enacting violence on his part... it's probably one of the worst effects, for him.
